Duel Citizen travelling with both US and SA passports

We are travelling from the US to SA for the first time as duel citizens. Do I stamp my US passport when I leave the US and stamp the SA passport when I arrive in South Africa. Would i have any issues when I return to the US with no stamp from SA in the US passport
