passport expiry for Italy

Hi, I'm an italian citizen living in London. I'm flying to Italy the 22nd of December and back the 30th. My passport expires the 20th of February. Do I need to extend or I can goto Italy with no problems? Pls let me know. Regards Mimmo52

I would HIGHLY suggest you renew your passport before you go.

I am an Indian passport holder. I want to visit India in the end of this month going on 24 April and coming back on 13 may, but my passport is expiring in Oct 2013 . will there be a problem for me to go and come back??

I am having a valid long time permit of stay i.e permesso suggiorno.
