Avoca Beach is a popular holiday town on the New South Wales Central Coast, within an hour's drive of the northern suburbs of Sydney. It boasts a long beach, protected at each end by rocky headlands, and good surfing conditions. Behind the beach is Avoca Lake, the perfect swimming spot for families with young children.
