Rock Church interior, Helsinki photo

This awesome and unique piece of architecture, the Temppeliaukio (‘Church in the rock’) is carved out of solid granite and has become one of Helsinki’s most famous attractions. Its rock walls are roofed over with a massive concave copper ceiling, which gives it excellent acoustics.
