One of the busiest airports in Canada, Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (usually shortened to Montréal-Trudeau) serves the greater Montreal area, including northern Vermont and New York State from its location about 12 miles (20km) from central Montreal.
Serving nearly 13 million passengers each year, Montréal Trudeau International Airport is a modern facility with plenty of shops and restaurants, and other facilities to make the transition into Canada a smooth one. Unfortunately, the airport has a reputation for long queues and disorganised customs and security screening. However, friendly and helpful staff are always on hand.
Flights to Montréal-Trudeau come in from all around the world, including international hubs like New York, Amsterdam, Cancun, Doha, Mexico City, Paris, Chicago, Lisbon, Panama City, Dallas, London, Rome, and Barbados.
The airport is located 12 miles (20km) west of Montreal.
