Nadi International Airport is the primary gateway for a holiday in Fiji and is located about six miles (10km) from the city of Nadi, close to fantastic beaches and tourist hotspots. Processing over 90 percent of Fiji's passengers every year on over 25 international flights per day, the airport is a basic facility with friendly service and a festive atmosphere, where local bands play welcome music to arriving guests. However, the airport is sometimes overwhelmed at peak times, and queues can be long.
The airport is situated on the west coast of Viti Levu (Fiji’s largest island), six miles (10km) from Nadi Town.
