Overview
Maurice Bishop International Airport is small by international standards, but makes up for its lack of size through friendliness, hospitality and efficient service. The airport was formerly known as Port Salines International Airport and started out as the hub of a US military invasion. It now serves as one of the main gateways for tourists flocking to Grenada's tropical beaches.
Location
The airport is situated six miles (11km) from St George’s.
Getting to the city
Buses do run to St George's but there is no fixed schedule. Taxis are located at the exit of the Arrivals terminal and there is a fixed fare to St George's.

The GAA Executive Lounge is located on the Upper Mezzanine Floor of the Departure Hall at Maurice Bishop International Airport. Among other things, the air-conditioned lounge has WiFi, a fax machine and photocopier, television and snacks.
