Rochester International Airport (RST)
Overview
Rochester International Airport is a tiny regional airport in Minnesota served by only two airlines. It receives fewer than 400,000 passengers annually and is generally used for the medical airline AirMed, which is connected to the Mayo Clinic, a top non-profit medical practice and research facility. Staff at the airport are warm and friendly and process times are short as it is such a small airport.
Location
The airport is nine miles (14km) southwest of Rochester.
Getting to the city
There are no public buses or trains from Rochester International Airport, but there is a shuttle service that runs from the airport to downtown. To book the shuttle, ask the Ground Transport Desk in the terminal to assist. Taxis and rental cars are also available.
