Vienna International Airport (VIE)


With three terminals, including a dedicated low-cost carrier terminal, it's easy to find flights to Vienna International Airport. Vienna International Airport is located in Schwechat County, just eleven miles (18 km) from central Vienna.

Vienna International Airport is the perfect entry or exit point to the capital of Austria, with its Baroque architecture, musical heritage, and gourmet food. The airport has a range of souvenir shops as well as a great selection of restaurants and coffee kiosks. The friendly airport staff and the easy to navigate airport make Vienna International a welcome stop on any leisure traveller or business person's flight itinerary.


The airport is located 14 miles (23km) southeast of Vienna.

Getting to the city

Local trains and buses leave regularly for Vienna. There is also a City Airport Train, which provides a fast and direct service to the centrally located City Air Terminal that is connected to the underground, bus and tram networks. Trains depart every 30 minutes and operate between 5.36am and 11.39pm.
