Getting Around

Although buses get very overcrowded during rush hour, Curitiba's bus system is cheap and reliable. It offers a tourist line called the City Centre Circulator, which covers more than 20 of the city's top attractions. Car rentals are available, but the city is congested with traffic and has many one-way streets, parking restrictions, and pedestrian or bus-only streets, which can make driving stressful. Taxis are available and reasonably priced. They can usually be hailed in the street.
