Kempegowda International Airport (BLR)

Bengaluru International Airport is the revamped gateway to southern India, and is a conspicuously modern and impressive facility. It is situated 25 miles (40km) from central Bengaluru. The airport is also one of the top five busiest airports in India, and its air-conditioned terminal building provides welcome relief to sun-soaked travellers traversing the subcontinent. A number of local low-cost carriers use Bengaluru International Airport as a hub and more than 20 international carriers offer flights to Bengaluru International Airport from major cities in North America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Bengaluru International Airport is a gateway to the 'Silicon Valley of India', as well as many other must-visit Indian destinations such as the backwaters of Kerala, the mystical charms of Mysore and the hedonistic beaches of Goa.

The airport is located around 23 miles (37km) from central Bangalore.
